CSULA's Beta Alpha Psi Wins 1st Place at Western Regional Conference

The Cal State LA, Beta Lambda Chapter would like to congratulate its presentation team for winning first place at the 2011 Western Regional Conference! It was held at the Disney Paradise Pier Hotel in Anaheim this past weekend. The team was composed of 6 team members including Diana Tang, Tina Harding, Juan Aguirre, Andrew Lai, Xiaoyu Gu and Myron LaCome. They worked extremely hard meeting twice a week for the last two months in order to prepare for the topic "An Accountant's Role In A Changing Business Environment." Their effort was well paid off!

Under this category the worthy competitors consisted of Cal State Fullerton, who took 3rd place, and the University of Hawaii at Manoa, who took 2nd place. The best part about the conference was the huge support given by the 10 other Beta Lambda members who were there to cheer on the presentation team. In addition, the competition was not the only part of the conference, the participants also learned valuable networking insights and performed fun, team-building tasks.

All-in-all, the conference was a great experience for everyone involved, and the Beta Lambda Chapter has continued to represent Cal State LA in a positive, professional, and great-spirited manner, showing the world that Cal State LA is on a level all its own! See you in Denver, Colorado at Nationals! Go Beta Alpha Psi!
